I don't know about you, but I had a good 2011. I've had a lot of firsts and a lot of new discoveries. I found great skin care products ('cause I'm all for skin care) and cool, legit online shops ('cause I'm all for online shopping, too)!
I came up with a list of "awards" of my 2011 and I wanna share it with you guys. The products that I'll mention will also have mini-reviews in case you guys are curious. This is my last post of 2011 so this is gonna be a long, image-heavy one. Lol enjoy! :)
The Skin & Hair Care category includes, well, skin and hair care products. I don't remember a time in my life where I didn't have any skin and hair problem. Too dry, too oily etc etc the list goes on. These awards go to those that helped me lessen my problems. Here are the awards for the Skin & Hair Care category:
PRODUCT OF THE YEAR
Truly Mudly Deeply Healing Clay Mask
If I had a year-end awards blog post last year, this would've won product of the year too! I love this mask for what it's done for me. I'm not exaggerating when I say this product has changed my life. How? Well, before using this product, I was like this:
The picture says it all. Now, thanks to that mask, I have a better face and I can go out and come home not feeling depressed and ugly and embarrassed :)
BEST ONLINE SHOP
I'm already a suki in her shop! Ate Hazel is really nice and accommodating. Her store won the Best Online Shop award because it's the store from which I got really effective skin care products. In fact, this is where I got my product of the year! Other effective products that I tried are the Passion Berries Pure Australian Emu Oil and the Passion Berries Rosehip Oil. I also bought lots of Cyleina stuff from her. Check her store out now!

Human Heart Nature Hair Mask
It's a really good hair mask! It smells great and it seriously made my hair straighter and more manageable after using it. It's the best skin & hair product buy of the year 'cause it's effective and sulit (more than your money's worth) in my opinion.
BEST DISCOVERY
Salon de Zamboanga
I was with my boyfriend the first time I went there. He was gonna have a haircut so I decided why not have one too? I brought a picture of Bubbi 'cause I wanted my hair to look like hers (lol ambitious). Unfortunately my iPod touch's battery died on me so I just explained. I fail at impromptu explaining as in I'd be surprised if anybody could understand my explanations. Imagine my surprise when that hair-cutter cut my hair just the way I like it! Everyone's nice there, too. I go there for every hair treatment thingy now.
Moving on to the next category...Make-up atbp! I've grown to really love make-up. I don't use that much but I keep on buying them lol. Here are the awards under the Make-up atbp category:

It's a tie between NYX Mosaic Blush (Highlighter) and Etude House Lip Tint!
These are my products of the year 'cause I don't ever want to go out without them on! They're lifesavers. I always sleep late 'cause I'm either studying or the internet distracted me. Because of that, I always look like a zombie when I wake up. These two products make me look ~alive~ :D
BEST BUY OF THE YEAR
Dollface Make-up Brushes.
Good quality brushes for 1,600php (plus shipping). These are awesome! This is my first make-up brush set and I'm pretty happy with them. The design is simple and not tacky, the brush hair thingies are really soft but are really sturdy. I use the lip brush and the blush brush the most but I'm in love with the eyeliner brush ♥
CRAZIEST EXPERIMENT

Blogged about it here. It was impromptu and crazy. I got the idea from this video. His is better, of course lol. I had to be resourceful but I kinda like the result. It's okay for a first try, yes?
BEST ONLINE SHOP
Beauty's treasure is where I got almost all my make-up. The rest, I got from Ate Jannie when she used to sell them. The seller's from Zamboanga and that makes buying make-up from Beauty's Treasure really practical 'cause I don't have to pay for any shipping nor do I have to wait to get my products. I like all the products I bought from her! I never got anything damaged and she almost always holds sales! Yay :D
We move on to our third and final category: Experiences & What-not. I guess you can call these the highlights of my 2011. I don't really have pictures for all of them but meh this post is long enough anyway. Here are the awards under the Experiences & What-not category:

If you're confused by the term ~real family, let me clear things for you. I'm adopted but I know and love my biological family and I visit them, too. I still even use my real last name. My family life is confusing.
Anyway, I've introduced Moj to my family here years ago but since my real family is all the way in Iligan, I only got to introduce him to them this year. I sort of blogged about the whole trip in the "cover photos" of my Facebook album here. You can view it even if you're not my friend :)

The Awesome Educational Trip, 2011
I only traveled twice this year. The first one being the trip mentioned above. The second time was for an educational trip to Cebu and Bohol! I blogged about it here and you can view more pictures from the trip here. Again, you can view them even if we're not Facebook friends.
MOST FULFILLING MOMENT
I got my first job!
It didn't last long because classes started a few weeks into the job but I got paid and I worked hard and everything! I worked as a virtual assistant to a company called Web 3 something something (lolfail). My boss was nice and it was really fulfilling when I got paid! Yay fulfillment! (I keep on yay-ing ._.)
MOST PAINFUL FAILURE
Shifting from Accountancy to Management Accounting :(
It's like I degrade every semester! I used to be a scholar in BSAc A. Now I'm an irregular Management Accounting student. I always tell myself to be serious with my studies but I just don't listen. I get distracted easily and I get lazy and procrastinate and when I get what I deserve, I complain. Meh. Why can't I just be born smart? Oh well. Hopefully I won't have any more harsh failures in 2012.
